CB Bhattacharya has researched and consulted for many companies such as Allianz, AT&T, Bosch, Eli Lilly, E.ON, General Mills, Green Mountain Coffee, High Museum of Art, Hitachi Corporation, Procter & Gamble Company, Prudential Bank, Timberland and Unilever. He is currently the H. J. Zoffer Chair in Sustainability and Ethics at the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he serves as the Faculty Director of the Center for Sustainable Business. He is co-author of Leveraging Corporate Responsibility: The Stakeholder Route to Maximizing Business and Social Value and co-editor of Global Challenges in Responsible Business, both published by Cambridge University Press.

He has been named twice on Business Week’s Outstanding Faculty list and has been recognized by Thomson Reuters and Google Scholar as one of the top-cited scholars in his field. He received his PhD in Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and his bachelor degree from St. Stephens College, Delhi. Prior to his PhD, he worked as a brand manager at Reckitt Benkiser, during which time he launched the now best-selling toilet-cleaning brand Harpic in the Indian market. CB is often interviewed and quoted in top media outlets such as Business Week, BBC, Forbes, Financial Times, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Economist, Times Now, CBS and PBS.
